Mr. Jones has earned his reputation as a&nbsp;renaissance man of American music, having&nbsp;distinguished himself as a bandleader,&nbsp;a solo artist, a sideman, a songwriter, a producer, an arranger, a film&nbsp;composer, and a record label executive.&nbsp; Outside of music, he's also written&nbsp;books, produced major motion pictures, and helped create television series.&nbsp; It you've read through my <u><a title="" href="http://www.mysonicisland.com/useless-info.html">Useless Info</a></u>&nbsp;page you know that Quincy holds the record for Grammy nominations at&nbsp;79, of which he has won&nbsp;27,&nbsp;including a Grammy Legend Award in 1991. The study ahowed that the most annoying situation for a lyrical misdemeanor is at a gig (34%), followed by at a karaoke bar (23%), on public transportation (20%), and even 18% hate hearing misquoted lyrics in the office.<br /><span></span><br /><span></span>5% of Americans claim they&nbsp;<em>never</em>&nbsp;get lyrics wrong, with almost half (47%) confessing they find it a bit embarrassing to get caught singing the incorrect words.<br /><span></span><br /><span></span>Findings also revealed that Americans are passionate about getting the words right with 78% saying they have had arguments with friends, family or colleagues over incorrect lyrics. Various methods of correcting a friend getting words wrong have been adopted with everything from singing louder than them with the right words (48%), sending someone a link to a lyrics website (22%) and even some that resort to changing the track that is playing (5%).&nbsp;<br /><br />I grew up singing Elton John songs that came on the radio and was wrong a lot ..
